Our Story

From the
Classroom
to the Kitchen

It all started when I left my teaching career of 8 years to become a stay-at-home mommy — the BEST decision ever! Around that time, I discovered the world of sourdough and was instantly captivated by its beauty and craft.

After watching countless videos and doing lots of research, I learned to make my own sourdough starter and baked my first loaf. I happily gave loaves away to friends and family, and realized I had found a hobby I truly loved.

After more than 50 loaves, people began asking if I'd ever sell. One day, I felt God placing it on my heart to share this gift with others — and A Loaf of Love was born.
